Data and Analytics projects have their challenges, but these can be even more daunting in the non-profit world with tight budgets and people constraints. Paul will share the opportunities and challenges of building a modern data architecture in a diverse organizational climate, while displaying the architectural design decisions and the reasoning. All while powering Team Canada to on-ice success.

Paul Zeldon is the founder of Discordant Analytics Ltd., a boutique consultancy focusing on the intersection of data, technology and continuous improvement. He has over 15 years experience in various facets in data, including GIS, corporate reporting, process improvement, data warehousing and architecture in both public and private sectors. Before starting his own consultancy, Paul led the Data & Analytics team at Hockey Canada, where he still advises on process improvement and data architecture. Previous to Hockey Canada, he spent over a decade leading various IT and Data projects in the Construction and Real Estate industries, including a few years in Arizona (Go Coyotes!). Paul holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from University of Calgary.
